Your concerns
Over the course of time, your company has accumulated expertise that sets it apart from the competition and gives it an advantage. These are technical solutions or manufacturing processes.
Understandably, you do not want your know-how to flow to your competitors via external service providers and for them to profit from it.
A common means of preventing the outflow of know-how is the non-disclosure agreement, which prohibits the service provider from passing on know-how or even product data under penalty of prosecution.
Regardless of whether you want a non-disclosure agreement or not, it goes without saying that I will not pass on your know-how to unauthorised parties.
There are two reasons for this:
- Your know-how is none of his business.
- Apart from that, I would only harm myself, as your competitor might accept the know-how, but would not trust me - and would not entrust me with design tasks, as I would be unreliable.
